The Thanksgiving Play is a satirical comedy that shows what happens when good intentions collide with misguided assumptions. Desperate to save her career, high school Theatre teacher Logan works with her yoga-teacher boyfriend, Jaxton, elementary teacher, Caden, and professional actress, Alicia, to devise a politically correct First Thanksgiving Play for Native American Heritage Month in schools. As these well-meaning teaching artists work, they scramble to navigate the challenges of privilege, historical accuracy, and the school district’s rules.
