TAMUC Opera Presents "The Path to Heaven"

The Texas A&M University-Commerce Opera Ensemble would like to invite you to a new production, entitled The Path to Heaven by Adam Gorb and Ben Kaye. This work was extensively researched and inspired by real-life stories. Composer, Adam Gorb described the Holocaust as “the most terrible fate to fall upon a race of people in the twentieth century…”. The 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau will be celebrated on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, January 27th, 2020. We strive to honor victims of the Holocaust and Nazism with our presentation of The Path to Heaven, which will run January 23-26, 2020. Our aim with this production is to confront hate, educate about social injustices, and promote action to prevent future genocides.
