Safe Space Ally Training aims to equip students, faculty and staff with the tools for creating Safe Spaces and welcoming environments for all students on campus. Participants will have the opportunity to confront the idea of privilege, learn about the LGBTQI community, interact with students who identify as LGBTQI, and gain the skills to make a difference in their departments and student interactions.
The training is presented in two, two-hour blocks. The sections may be taken in any order. Both sections are required to become an ally and receive your display placard. Please join us and support the university's commitment to diversity. This is the first of two parts of the training.
Space is limited. Reserve your space by using the following link. Safe Space Ally Training.
