Organizing and Citing Your Research Resources (online)

You have started your research, what do you do now? This workshop will show you how to save your resources in the Library databases and how to create a bibliography page through various citation tools.

While conducting your research and preparing to write your paper, it is important to keep track of your articles and other resources. Equally important is knowing how to properly cite them when referencing them in your paper.

This workshop will demonstrate how to keep track of your sources through Library databases and citation managers. It will also show how the citation tools can help you correctly cite your references in your papers.

Upon completion of this workshop, you will have learned how to

  • Create accounts in Library databases and save resources
  • Create an account and use citation manager RefWorks
  • Use citation tools from databases and Refworks to create bibliographies
