National Disability Employment Awareness Month speaker series

Held annually, National Disability Employment Awareness Month is led by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy, but its true spirit lies in the many observances held at the grassroots level across the nation every year. Employers of all sizes and in all industries are encouraged to participate in NDEAM.

TAMUC will host several presentations on disability employment awareness:

• Oct. 15: "Disability Terminology" with Alexis Duggan, 10-11 a.m., RSC Ambition B

• Oct. 19: "Crip Camp, a Disability Revolution," 2-4 p.m., RSC Club

• Oct. 22: Texas Workforce presentation with Daniel Clark, 2-3 p.m., RSC Ambition B

• Oct. 29: "Disability Etiquette" with Sandi Patton*, 12-1 p.m., RSC Innovation B

*This event is a brown bag lunch, and registration is required.
