Volunteer Today to Host a Hot Spot Tent

It is that time of year to volunteer to work Hot Spot locations to welcome new and returning students to campus.  What are Hot Spots, you ask?  They are the information tents located at four high-impact areas around campus the first three days of class to help students find their way to class, get information about campus services, connect with new and returning students and get a bottle of water to help with the heat.

Sign up via the link below to work one or more shifts of Hot Spots!

Time slots are listed by day, time and location.  You can sign up as an individual, department or student organization.

Students and faculty/staff who volunteer are eligible to receive a Lions Roar T-shirt.  T-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed.

Lastly, if you would like to distribute any give-a-ways, handbills, etc. at the various Hot Spot locations, please bring all supplies to the Student Involvement Suite located on the 2nd floor of the Rayburn Student Center by noon on Wednesday, August 14.

Your participation makes this event a success year after year, and we truly appreciate your help!
