Graduate Student Researchers and Faculty:
University of North Texas (UNT) invites you to participate in the Annual Federation Graduate Student Research Symposium to be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at University Union – Ballroom 314, University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. All information about the symposium can be found at tgs.unt.edu/gsc-event/federation-graduate-student-research-symposium .
Doctoral and Master students in the following graduate disciplines may submit research posters:
1) HUM – Education, Humanities, Social Sciences & Business
2) STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering & Math
There are cash awards in each category
• 1st Place – $500
• 2nd Place – $250
• 3rd Place – $100
Students must submit an abstract of their research and the approval form which their faculty sponsor must sign and approve. Students should send the Abstract Approval Form, along with an abstract to the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) (email@example.com) on or before Friday, March 1, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. for approval.
AFTER you receive approval of your abstract from the OSP, you may register online for the symposium. You must register online by Friday, March 8, 2019. We will provide transportation for A&M-Commerce students participating in the symposium. The bus will leave from and return to the Commerce campus. Once registered, you will receive additional information concerning the itinerary and where to board the university bus.

The Symposium is open to all A&M-Commerce graduate students for master and doctoral level research. The Federation Research Symposium provides an opportunity for students to present research in a poster format while interacting and discussing the research with faculty, judges and other participants. The symposium also provides the participants with broad exposure to the Federation research community.
Faculty are welcome to attend and some faculty are needed to judge the competition. You, too, must complete the online registration form.
Travel for the Symposium will be provided by the OSP, along with your meal at the luncheon. The keynote speaker will be announced at a later date.
