Our first Lion's Lecture Series event of the semester! Join the Graduate School and First-Year TRAC on Thursday, February 2nd from 5 p.m. -6 p.m. in The Club. Our goal with the Lion's Lecture is to bring our faculty, staff, students, and community together to share ideas and get to know others in a relaxed setting. February's event will include:
- "The Argentine-Bangladeshi Love Fest at the 2022 FIFA World Cup" Dr. Robert Rodriguez, Department of Political Science and Nazmush Munia, Graduate Student
- "The Human Heart – The Beat of a Different Drummer" Dr. Michael Oldham, Department of Health and Human Performance
The Lion's Lecture Series are Ted-style talks (20 minutes) with guest speakers from our TAMUC community touching on topics that ignite their passion and aim to inspire and entertain the audience.
The event is free, cash bar and doors open at 4:45 p.m. Free pint glass to those who attend while supplies last.
