Colorful traditional attire, festive music and energetic performances! These are a few words that describe the annual Cultural Extravaganza at Texas A&M University-Commerce that will occur on August 30, 2022.

Cultural Extravaganza is a community, family-friendly event hosted by the Intercultural Engagement & Leadership office at Texas A&M University - Commerce. There will be various organizations and businesses hosting informational and/or interactive booth that help promote, share, and/or educate others about culture. Cultural Extravaganza seeks to entertain students, faculty, staff and the Commerce community with performances that showcase the diverse cultures represented at A&M-Commerce. The event will also feature local food trucks representing various cultures, face painting, and a petting zoo.

Among the slated performances, "Baila Pacifica"—an oceanic entertainment group of Lei greeters—as well as Polynesian dancers and fire dancers are scheduled to perform alongside several other groups.

The event is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, in front of Rayburn Student Center. Guests are encouraged to arrive via W. Neal Street and park where available.
