Developing Your Research Question (online)

You have your topic to write about… now what? This workshop will instruct you on developing a research question and give you details on how to apply your question to a database search.

Research questions are formulated from your topic of interest to help you do your research. This workshop will teach you what a research question is, how to formulate one, and how to apply it to a Library database search.

Upon completion of this workshop, you will have learned:

  • How to formulate a research question from a topic of interest
  • How to find terms to search in the Library databases based off your question
