We have some thrilling news to share with everyone! The Morris Recreation Center is set to undergo an exciting expansion that will enhance our facilities and offer even more opportunities for fitness, recreation, and engagement.

What’s being expanded?

• 5,800 square feet fitness addition
• Two new activity rooms
• A new and welcoming entrance
• New office suite for Campus Recreation staff
• New restrooms, showering, and changing areas
• New entrances to the pool and the MAC

Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or just looking to connect with friends, this expansion will create a space for everyone to thrive.

Campus Recreation staff offices will be moving to the third floor of the Journalism building on December 4 and MRC construction will start on December 14.

We’re eager to share this journey with you and keep you in the loop as we move forward with this project.
